NHS Spitfire - Humberside
A little trip to Humberside to catch today's 'Thank U NHS' flight. John Romain, the pilot of Spitfire PR Mk.XI PL983 is flying around the country to mark the work of NHS staff during the pandemic, and the aircraft bears the words ‘Thank U NHS’ on it’s underside. Today he was joined by Spitfire Mk.XV...

No, it doesn't mean the ban is over. They'll still avoid the 'loop' photography spotsAFaviation wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 11:38 amNot sure if this means the ‘ban’ is over, but it is still part of the loop.![]()

The 41Sqn Typhoon 'APOLLO11' did two passes at Linton, so highly unlikey to be anything to do with any potential display on Friday given it was a 41Sqn jet and wasn't a practice display.

They did passes on the Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th January in the lakes, after new year then they were banned from going low level due to safety concerns towards the end of that week. Not an raf decision it was a decision made by the aircraft safety board due to the age of the airframes. They are al...

Re: Machloop ban
The RAF are still carrying out low flying in other areas including the tornado fleet. There's more to low flying than the loop I was told that RAF Tornados are currently banned from flying low level. Not just in the loop, but anywhere. All sorties will now be medium-level. Unless you know any diffe...
