Re: Coningsby Opening times week commencing 20th September 2021

With Coningsby on nights w/c 20 September would I see much if I came down during normal office hours or is it generally quiet until later in the afternoon?
Cheers

Can anyone here confirm whether the public toilets in the car park in Coningsby are still closed?

Re: Week commencing 17 August

Thanks i6720, found it now. My wife has previously used the loos in the village car park but there appears to be contradictory info as to whether they are open. We'll find a way.

Week commencing 17 August

Afternoon all. Weather-permitting, I will be traveling to Coningsby w/c 17 August - probably Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. A couple of questions if I may: - is Coningsby on days next week? - are there any toilets open in the area - ideally for the wife as she'll not want to go behind a bush. There...

W/c 9 September - just a regular week?

I’m thinking of driving to Coningsby Wednesday 11 September. Is it likely to be just a regular Typhoon day or could I expect to see anything else such as BBMF.

Regards

Looking for recommendation

Our company wish to take photos of our projects (buildings / heritage / infrastructure) with something better than a smartphone so I'm looking for some suggestions from you photographer types. The camera would need to be usable by any of the designers and engineers so a feature laden DSLR may not be...

Re: RAF Hawks grounded?

The T1 has been until just very recently as a result of a friend of mine on 100 Sqn going hypoxic not so long back and had to land the jet very quickly at Newcastle. Squadron obviously had to check the jets to see if there is an issue with pressurisation/AC.

Solo Turk merchandise?

I didn't have the opportunity at RIAT to check out the Solo Turk stall so was wondering whether anyone here has seen if merchandise is available online or through a vendor? I've checked the web but couldn't see anything obvious.

Cheers

I can't play the drums but they are always my favourite instrument to listen to in a track. I particularly enjoy watching this drummer and her tracks are right up there in my playlists - Slipknot, Rage, Metallica, Korn et al. I'm sure a real rock drummer would slate her for smiling whilst drumming ...

Old bases to photo. Anywhere good?

Firstly, apologies if this thread is in the wrong section. I want to take some photos of old bases as a hobby project this spring / summer and I'm looking for some advice as to where to go, preferably in Yorkshire. Naturally, I don't want to stray onto private land without the land owners consent an...

Re: Driving on RAF Woodbridge.

Woodbridge is a great circuit to bash around. As well as the normal 'any driver' days there are also specific track days there such as the Toyota Sprint Series. Most of the track days are organised by Javelin.

Have a look here...

Re: B52 question ?

I was told it was because the centre of lift is behind the centre of gravity. Only ever saw one take off, at a Mildenhall show, and I thought it was going to pile in. I thought the same with the BUFF take off at Mildenhall Air Fete. Here's my shot... http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5091/5510512892_91...
