Re: Brize Norton this weekend
The bike racing was at Abingdon which is probably why the Apaches that were there repositioned to Benson. I don't think it had anything to do with Brize.

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2020 Beja AB
The email address that they put had an extra dot at the end which shouldn't have been there I don't think as my first email wouldn't send but when I left the final dot off it seemed to work ok. Maybe this is the answer.

Hi,
Please can anyone tell me if the B-2s are still sitting outside the hangars or have they been put away?

Re: Gary's Aviation patches
Hi Gary, That's a great haul from RIAT. I love the Vader Belgian patches but unfortunately their stall was shut when I went past on Saturday morning and I forgot to go back 😡. The 494th RIAT patch was £25 when I asked on Saturday afternoon. The American really seem to take the pee with their prices....

Re: June 1995, CC F-111s and LA B-52s visit Fairford
I think the Cannon F-111s were the D mark- never saw any regrettably. Roger. p.s. quality pictures indeed. They were definitely ex-Lakenheath F-111Fs which replaced the D models at Cannon. You can see the Pave Tack pod that the F model carried in it's bomb bay deployed under the fuselage of a coupl...

Re: June 1995, CC F-111s and LA B-52s visit Fairford
Those are great photos especially of the Aardvarks. If I remember rightly I visited Fairford during this deployment and luckily the day I was there they opened the base up in the afternoon. I think we parked round by the main entrance and were bussed out to the ramp to wander around to our hearts co...

Did Tornado 46+44 (Panther 1) return as that took off on its own carrying belly fuel tanks? All the others were just carrying wing tanks. I just wondered if that had returned to Germany.

Hi All,
Just a note of warning to say that a mate of mine almost got a parking ticket a few weeks ago whilst parked in the Britannia Gate entrance. I've never had a problem but I mainly visit evenings or weekends, he was there during a week day.

Re: Patch prices and Ebay
I know that things are worth what someone will pay but it is mad. An Aussie E-7 RIAT patch went for £70 on ebay last week but are back in stock with Bomber patches for $16.95.
Where are the Chinook patch sets for sale as can't see them on BP website?

Wow what a haul. That's an instant collection on its own. I would have loved the LTG-62 Grizzly patch to add to my A400 collection but didn't see anyone selling when I went past on the Friday. Would be interested if anyone has a spare for sale.

That's an amazing collection. I never saw the A109 team selling on Friday.I really wanted one of the PVC WW1 patches with the howling wolf and the poppies on it . I don't suppose you have a contact where I could get one please.
Many thanks
