The airshow planned at Compton Abbas airfield in August has now been canceled

On an ordinary news site they displayed all this year's Red Arrows events, but Fairford was not listed. Was this just a mistake on their part?

A new event this year Icons of the Sky at Longleat Safari Park 13th, 14th & 15th September a mixture of planes but does include a Spitfire.

Just read in a local news site, due to commercial reasons and maintenance work on the airfield it is looking like the Air Day will not be back 2028.

I am surprised with obviously the expert staff that AHA had that somebody within the firm hasn't taking up the mantle and started a new business of their own running events hopefully to include future airshows.

Can anybody confirm Yeovilton Air Day is going ahead in 2023?

Don't know any of the numbers, but I live on the edge of Bridgwater not that far from the M5 and we often get Wildcats flying over. Some really high but others a little bit lower.
Such a frequent sight I never take much notice of them.

Nice set of shots, I like most of them apart from the single boat shot. Too much sky for my liking, would have preferred shot from a lower angle and the boat being more of a main subject (my opinion only).
