Re: Spit and Mustang photo shoot over North Oxfordshire
Nice shot of the Spitfire with a full moon in the background. What are the chances you have a full moon, a Spitfire flying by and your camera ready?

Re: Solway Aviation Museum, carlisle 12/4/25
Mike, Thank you very much for posting the aircraft from the Solway Museum. I went to Schotland last week and made good use of your post. On my way from Newcastle to Prestwick and Lossiemouth I made a stop at the museum because your photos showed there were aircraft there I didn't see the last time I...

Re: USA April/May 1975
Guys, thank you all for your nice comments.
eLaReF, regarding your comment and also Petepilot on previous comments I can only say "nothing beats British humour".
Retro, thank you very much for indicating the wrong type on the Hill F-105's. I learned something today.
Best regards,
Arnold

Nice picture Jon. Very special with the water in front.

USA April/May 1975
This week it is 50 years ago that I went for the first time to the USA on a delayed honeymoon. Of course it wasn't a hobby trip but I managed to squeeze a few visits to airfields into our travel schedule focussed on National Parks and visiting friends in St.Louis and Denver. I have posted on this fo...

Re: Lossie 2025 So Far
What a lovely selection of pictures you shared with us. Thank you very much. Lossiemouth has such good photo opportunities, it’s my favorite base in the UK and I cannot wait until I am there the 28th and 29th of April.

Re: USA ESTA issues.
Last year Immigration kept me in an office for 4 hours because I was suddenly a potential suspect. In the end it turned out to be that I had given my fingerprints in order to enter USMC Yuma airshow in 2019. In the end I was allowed in after much explaining by me. They advised me to get a visum inst...

Re: RAF Woodbridge April1985
Thanks a lot Kenny64 for sharing these images with us. They are a nice overview of USAF aircraft we could see in the eighties. In those days the F-15 was around in Europe. Were they not participating? By the way, funny to see an RF-4C at a LODEO. I guess it was just a visitor.

Re: 104's @ Valley 1987
Very nice to see all these shots of a couple of Memmingen Starfighters. The only time I went to a Valley Open Day was in 1991 which was mainly an RAF event with foreign F-16's instead of F-104's.
Thanks a lot for posting your pictures.

1975 First months
Some pictures of my spotting activities 50 years ago when I mainly focussed on Wildenrath, Brüggen and Norvenich during the first three months of the year. No doubt the weather had its influence here. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54396330491_0bd67c116b_h.jpg Wildenrath 15 January 1975. Harrie...

Re: Murcia San Javier december 2024
Urshouse, the old civil terminal is inaccessible. When you drive southbound along the airfield, at the end you see a sign for the campground. Turn left there and at the end you can park your car there at the campground entrance. This is the place where you take your pictures when they take-off in so...

Great to see you have restarted your Lossiemouth series again. Thanks a lot for taking the time to post images from a very interesting RAF station, especially in those days, which has always been my favorite base. Thank you as well for the Belgian visitors which clearly shows the beautiful design of...

1974 in retrospect
After having focused this year on this forum on some airshows in 1974, I thought I could repeat my last year's retrospective to post a cross-section of the aircraft I came across in 1974. I would like to thank everybody who posted a reaction on my posts this year very much. They were all much apprec...
