Has the Cp-140 departed yet or is it still present at PIK?
Still here. More high speed runs today. Should be back on H now last I heard.
Cheers Airforce1, hoping to try and catch it departing if it leaves this weekend.

Any update on how the Cp140 is doing? Seen it this morning with a door open at the back and the nose cone open.

Re: Joint Warrior 23-2?

Just to get the subject of JW 23-2 dates back at the top of the pile - can anyone throw any light on the actual dates? The FB Group is hedging its bets on the two sets of dates mentioned earlier in this thread, and it too would appreciate some credible insight. Anyone? :pop: I think more people are...

I'm not a member of it but I suspect most of the info posted on the group comes from here.
Could possibly be the case but haven't seen this posted yet.. The first set of date being reported is the 30th Sep to 12th Oct, however someone is saying its actually 20 Oct-3Nov.

Re: F&F day

Seen that, but couldn’t they have flown South later on today or stayed until Monday. They might have had that idea but might have not been able to get the hangar they where using for longer or had to be somewhere else on the Monday. The where supposed to do a fly past at the Dumfries and Galloway m...

Re: F&F day

It is a strange one, don’t understand myself why they flew the Lanc up to Leuchars to display at Peterhead last night, then flew it back to Coningsby straight afterwards. Could they not have flown to Lossie yesterday and stayed there all weekend, or at the very least just what it did last night. I ...

Well apparently they won't let you go to the Mound off Shaw Farm Estate. Another alternative might be at Monkton.
After everyone left the police had left the signs but nobody to enforce it so could just have been for today due to how many people where arriving.

Re: Sunday 4th June 2023

For Air Defender they expect i think 18 A-10's from different units. So the ones for Prestwick could well be delayed 24hrs, and the ALTRV can be for another squadron of A10's(not flying via Prestwick?) Rumours are that all 18 are routing through PIK. The evidence so far still looks like they are ar...

Elsewhere on FC I note there is an ALTRV in place (assumed for A-10's) on Sunday, has this now been withdrawn?
They where created hours after Venom posted that. So I would assume that they haven't slipped 24 hours yet. ALTRV CREATED: 02 JUN 21:01 2023 , venoms post 14:30PM.

Historic helicopters up for sale.

Looks like historic helicopters are down sizing the fleet. The lynx and three of their Seakings are up for sale. Shame that as it could potentially mean they might not fly again or might end up somewhere else rather than in the Uk. https://www.controlleremea.co.uk/listings/for-sale/turbine-military-...

Re: Tue 18th Apr

On Tuesday FR24 was showing an arrival from Oslo but cancelled . The aircraft type showing was an AN-2 but the callsign would have suggested it was actually a C2 Greyhound. Rawhide77. Anyone know anything about this or was it just a weird glitch.
