Re: A flight over The 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (309th AMARG)

The helicopter had the doors off and was quite an experience Ye...

Re: Bentwaters,March 1992.

Brilliant post - thanks for sharing. Bentwaters was, and still is, a great place to visit! A shame about the '111 nose being slightly cropped - I bet if you check the neg it is well within the frame! The joys of the printing company and their cropping - remember this well! Please post more if you ha...

Re: SR-71s - Det 4, RAF Mildenhall

Thanks for the all the comments on these - much appreciated Out of interest what scanner are you using because the quality is very good? Using a vintage Minolta DiMage Scan Dual IV from about 2003 - still works and images are coming out OK. Had to put some 'patches' on the software as it originally ...

Brilliant thread Stuart - love the ground shots with the marked up bombs Was also there on the 23rd March 2003 and got 0007 and 0015 going out and another coming back with a hung up bomb. As Mustang531 said there were a lot of people there that day and can remember it being almost like a family day ...

Very nice Toom - thanks for sharing

Is the EC-130Q one of the early TACAMO aircraft? Thought they had pods on the wing tips but maybe not?

Cheers and thanks again

'Warsaw Pact Central Heating' - Lakenheath Style!

Seeing Toom317's post of F-111s at Lossiemouth, I thought I would add some I have recently completed from 'the box'. Loved the F-111 - one of my favourite all time aircraft! Hope you find of interest To confirm these are from the collection of Richard Minter and appropriately watermarked. Richard ha...
