Couldn't it have flown back under it's own power from Norway to the UK. Is done before.
Had it some issues?
Or just training transporting by air?

Re: RAF retirement dates

A replacement for the C-17 is not on the horizon. And looking at some dates, a program for a some sort of replacement may have to star...

Not sure this is right place to ask, but why is F-15QA 17-045 still at Lakenheath?
Waiting for the next delivery batch to arrive from St. Louis and then join them for the onward flight to Qatar.
Okay Thanks

Re: Romania joins F-35 Lightning II program

Hmmm - just like the F-16 era. Nothing like the F-16 era to be honest. For the first ten years of F-16s being operated in Europe, the USAF operated F-15, F-111, F-4/RF-4 and A-10 in front line service alongside. The Belgians kept their Mirage 5s for another 12 years, the Dutch their F-5s, The Norwe...

Re: Honolulu F18s

When did VMFA’s start operating mixed C/D units, never seen that before? For sometime (2-3 years). Can't find the article. But due to lack of Ds, because some are needed for training I believe. Cs are added to some VMFA units. As Cs are available in larger numbers as also ex-USN are available. Nice...

News form Dutch MoD yesterday that only 12 will be order instead of 14.
Reason the money available and complexity of systems (integration).
Delivery also delayed to 2030-2032
