In addition two Hawks plus Concorde flew over after the Herks. Southampton ATC : " 3 unknown aircarft out there ...looks like Concorde and two others ...We're not expecting anything?" Reply "We are and yes you are too!" If you need the shipboard stuff I can get it from my logs (courtesy of BARG) but...

1994 they tried for 40 C-130s, boosting the line up with Lyneham examples. Due to the Rwanda operations, the RAF machines were constantly changing, recall one guy asking where XV*** was (per checklist) as it was the last one he needed to photograph, only to be told it had gone out that morning early...

Found mine has been having auto focus problems, since Fairford. (Blamed the damp but its continued) Thought it was low contrast subjects but Reds at Leuchars played silly b too :(

Sooty, did cleaning camera contacts help ?

The Typhoon was a single seater, so probably EV (not sure where I got "C" from but it was late on, the original image is a bit dark on camera and my eyes are past it!!)

Thought there was a flypast on Monday, certainly something noisier than the usual Easyjets over Restalrig at 2100

Ive got some from December 93 ( I think) with them assembled. Were these just after theyd been delivered?

IIRC they joined the Hawarden collection of Soviet metal, after that I dont know

Yes they did, some were embargoed by the US in the 70s however.
