Hi Ian I've got a Celestron C90 scope which has a focal length of 1000mm and an aperture of 90mm. I use it with my camera and a T2 adapter with limited success. It's a wonderful telescope but it's got a few limitations on a camera. Although the C90 uses a mirror, I think the same problems will apply...

Have a look here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=91767&start=240#p603471 . We're actually listening to Vice Admiral Kulakov, RGR35, and RAL48 has been hove to off Cape Canaveral keeping an eye on the USA.

I heard Z3A26 working Swanwick on 371.55. He was 53mile north and the EasyJet was at FL80. He closed within 2 miles by which time the EasyJet was down to 2700ft descending into Stansted. It was IMC all the way down. He eventually saw him at 700ft. Then climbed to FL160 into a racetrack while he spok...

Re: Script running message
Windows 7 on my laptop and Linux on my desktop is OK but running XP on the desktop is unuseable. If I was stuck solely with XP I would give up on FC. As it is I need XP to run some of my older software so posting on FC is now on the laptop which is a pain. Progress?

I'm getting the same message, first noticed it last night so it's not likely to be server loading.

Re: Loft Antenna
Listen to something like Brize ATIS and move the aerial about in the loft to find the best spot. You may find that it's not the best spot for Gloucester, but that's radio. Outside is best, but not always possible. Hope it goes ok.

It's standard practice to blame the dead pilot. It moves attention away from the shortcomings of the aircraft and its systems. The RAF have done the same thing.

There is a real problem here. I've noticed it on several occasions. I think its to do with the difference in outlook between people who have never known life without the internet and those of us, including me, who grew up in the dark ages. I'm flying a white flag here, trying to find the reason for t...

Re: What am I seeing?
If you want to know what you have seen flying over the UK, this is probably one of the best places to ask. People with radios, SBS's,PP, binoculars and years of experience are all routinely monitoring and more than willing to help. Money can't buy this sort of commitment. But there is a lot going on...

I don't think this has been posted before, apologies if it has. As a result of the Charles Haddon-Cave QC report on the Nimrod Review, the Military Aviation Authority has been created.
