Hi Ian I've got a Celestron C90 scope which has a focal length of 1000mm and an aperture of 90mm. I use it with my camera and a T2 adapter with limited success. Windows 7 on my laptop and Linux on my desktop is OK but running XP on the desktop is unuseable. If I was stuck solely with XP I would give up on FC. As it is I need XP to run some of my older software so posting on FC is now on the laptop which is a pain. Progress?

Listen to something like Brize ATIS and move the aerial about in the loft to find the best spot. You may find that it's not the best spot for Gloucester, but that's radio. Outside is best, but not always possible. Hope it goes ok.

It's standard practice to blame the dead pilot. It moves attention away from the shortcomings of the aircraft and its systems. The RAF have done the same thing.
