'Heath' and 'Hall' from the overhead.

Decided to transit through the zone on the way back from Sherburn in Elmet after visiting some Tiger Moth friends. Struggled to get anything remotely sharp due to haze, a smeared and bug splattered canopy and below 5000' it was so choppy we were getting thrown around like dice in a cup. https://live...

Superb mate.
There must be money to be made from that one.
Shame that the few remaining veterans must be wondering why they bothered!
Not sure what your are saying there … did you speak to a WW2 veteran to come to that conclusion?
You know exactly what I'm saying.
And yes I have!

Lakenheath 02 May

Just the usual suspects but always nice to get to the Heath on a Friday if 05 is in use. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54493773519_9e03be1b5b_h.jpg C-17 by Jayson Cork , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54492008910_f0ff15c3de_h.jpg F-15E by Jayson Cork , on Flickr https://live.sta...

Re: Lumix FZ200 Bridge Camera

I think my comment was misunderstood.
Or I didn’t make it clear.
When I said Mirrorless with larger sensor I meant larger than a bridge camera!
A bridge camera is still Mirrorless.
A ‘crop’ sensor Mirrorless (APS-C) would be absolutely fine.
Hope this clarifies.

Re: Lumix FZ200 Bridge Camera

I think it's more a case of people remaining silent rather than wishing to appear rude. You really need a DSLR or mirrorless with a larger sensor for aviation. Unless your happy with record shots of course, in which case I'm sure the FZ200 is fine. Can you explain how the sensor size helps? You ser...

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1

I witnessed the altercation between the copper and the bellwhacker in question.
His mate/brother was called Steven and he persistently shouted ‘Steven did you see that?’
‘Steven, he’s coming straight at us!’
‘Steven, here they come again!’
Very low IQ, I nearly said something, and now wish I had.

Re: Is this true? Tell me it's not!

I went to Waddo on Thursday and almost wish I hadn’t.
As previously mentioned, the majority of the offenders were idiots videoing the Red Arrows on their phones.
Personally wish the Reds were still at Scampton.

Now you're just showing off Peter!
Seriously, Indian Mig 25s!
Have you thought about getting a book printed with all of your combined exploits. I for one would buy it.

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1

I can only echo everyone else's comments. I mainly go to 'The Loop' these days and even then I make sure the kids are at school. That said, I arrived at Bwlch car park at 03:30 on Thursday and got the last spot before they started double parking and hemming us in (something you have to accept at Bwl...

Lovely to see something a bit different. Nicely shot and processed. That southern humid light isn't your friend.
And another thumbs up for the Tejas. Two sticker better looking in my eyes.
