Re: more fence damage
This not just a problem affecting aircraft spotters and my experience is that the vast majority of us are caring considerate enthusiasts. I also watch railways and ships and the same problem arises. It is a big problem in society as a whole. Any tourist area or picnic site is plagued with rubbish. T...

Re: A400 woes in the news
The Telegraph does say that sometimes only two A400s had been available and also said the plane could not be used for parachuting. The final paragraph states that the A400 will replace all the Hercules and will be better as it has propellers rather than jet engines! I can hardly wait to go to RIAT t...

Re: first photos posted here,test
Daz Nobody puts their poor photos on the Internet, they delete them anyway! It is not your equipment that determines how good your work is, it's the person behind the camera. Many photos show planes sitting on a runway but you have shown real power in the air. Just be glad you don't have to buy film...

Don't doubt your ability. Your pictures show power and beauty in these aircraft. Some of the best pictures I have seen.

Another one just turned over us and now heading back towards FFD. Cloud base better here then the 400ft at FFD. Probably only just in cloud here.

Several large jets circling just in cloud OOT Worcester. Could it be the B52s? Not seen on radar maps.

Re: Barksdale dispersal pans upgraded for nuclear QRA
I apologise profusely for my spelling of Concord(e) and the heated discussion I provoked. I am just proud of our part in the creation of that superb plane. Will my new spelling be acceptable to the Francophiles .

Re: Barksdale dispersal pans upgraded for nuclear QRA
My 10 years really were 14 years-how time flies. I have watched planes at Fairford since the days of Concord and living in Worcester only 1 hour away I could use my half day and I saw every one of the Concords fly. Even with military flying, I have never seen any enthusiast cause trouble or be a sec...

Re: Barksdale dispersal pans upgraded for nuclear QRA
During a deployment about 10 years ago to Fairford we were watching fron the crash gate on the south side of the airfield when an elderly lady pushed pass me and climbed up and over the gate, kicking me in the face with her wellies while she did it. She walked over to the nearest bomber and un-furle...

Re: Monday/Tuesday Thunderstorm Heads Up
I am fed up with all your comments about those fantastic thunder storms! I live in Worcester, love watching lightning and will travel miles to watch a storm. The weather forecasters ( national and local) forecast storms here. BUT, we have not had a single flash of lightning or rumble of thunder this...

Re: Thursday info for trip
Neil Hope the trip goes well on Thursday. Have you considered ringing or e-mailing the public relations officer at Mildenhall to explain what you are doing? Stress that they have special needs and seeing planes flying would be a brilliant end to their day and how helpful Duxford have been. If they k...
