One came into Dyce in 1973 as support ship for the Red Arrows before they went to Paris Airshow.

Thanks, very useful. Can certainly tie many up but either airframes were changing throughout the week or I miscounted tails. Too much heat haze to positively identify some tail markings. But thanks.

Any confirmation of the military aircraft lined up on the far side of the airfield 2x F18,3x A10,2x F22,2x F15, 3x T38, 2xT45, Buckeye etc 27/7 plus C130 Firefighter. MTIA

I believe the Marshall of the RAF was flying as part of the formation, perhaps that partially explains the nature of the flypast. Never the less they managed to get the 3 special markings operational at this point in their flying careers. Congratulations to all involved.

F-35s -I had seen images which agreed with your idents but no dates. I notice I have I mistyped the A10s on the 26th. I saw 3, my brain acknowledged 3 ,my fingers typed 2 -on the far side. Oh dear! Saw the 4th A10 in the static so all good.

Morning,
looking for confirmation on the following:
Tuesday 25- 2x F35, 2X A10 on "far" side
Wednesday 26- 2x A10 on "far" side plus 5x F18 of the Angels that flew in during the National Anthem missed the others.

Thanks might be, as it is unlikely they swapped around airframes. I too have photographs but they are almost nose on so serials are not displayed.
