Re: F35s 05-08-20 in the morning

Thanks for the advice, to be truthful, I am aware of the issue with the F35s, hence I post what I actually read off. Was hopeful in that mentioning I had seen the others flying later in the day, that some of the many that were at the end of the runway when I was there earlier, might have made actual...

F35s 05-08-20 in the morning

Hi all, A quick jaunt up here saw ZM151 - code 017 and ZM152 - code 018 depart at 10:02 local and return approx 11:08 local. Around the same time was ZM335 Phenom doing several approaches. A pair of F35s were seen overhead Norwich Airport approx 13:00, does anyone have ID's for these - as usual were...

Marham 29/07/20

Hi all, Took a run out here this afternoon, rare visit for me although it is one of my nearest fields! Seen departing at approx 12:40 were 2 F35's, and returning approx 13:54. They were ZM142 coded 008 and ZM145 coded 011. They showed up on ADSB / Freedar as ZM137 - a well known anomaly I think. Ove...

Re: Radlett Mid 70s

Thanks for the responses, would appear somewhere in the mists of time, confusion has crept in. Definitely was not before 1974, so not sure what else it could have been - always had it in my head that it was Radlett!

Radlett Mid 70s

Between 1974 and 1978 I used to regularly travel on a train which went along the edge of Radlett airfield, there was always an all white frame stuck in the middle of nowhere (? Victor) anyone any idea what this may have been.

Re: Newbie Here

I am also a bit of a newbie, joined this about 2 years ago when retired, but not done much exploring till now. Have actually been spotting more or less consistently for 49 years, interested in just about anything that leaves the ground
