Also this morning x2 Typhoons departed around 7.30am

ASCOT 9531 & 32

9531 which was ZK432 got as far as the south coast of England before it returned at 9.30am, I assume it was an air spare for additional aircraft heading to the east. No idea what was 9532.

A three ship arrived first, and in order of landing 3, 7 & 43
Two ship in order of landing, 13 & 28

Most (but not all) had a small 12F badge on the fin.

Only one flew on Wednesday, the other had a ground abort, it was 31+06 and its c/sign was FANG 12 and flew between 10.30 & 12.30

Yes a Nymrod SAR aircraft was quietly dispatched to be in the right place should the Royal transport get into trouble. Thankfully it has as yet to be called on.
