Is this a scam?
I have arrived home this evening to find 2 identical letters in UKMail envelops from 2 of my banks. Both letters are identical and have a form for me to fill in. It’s a Tax Residency Self-Certification form. In brief then letter says Under the CRS legislation, financial institutions which include a ...

Re: Bentwaters UFO
Sadly the mystery will continue forevermore. There have been so many theory’s over the years. But there always seems to be evidence in one shape or form that would rule each theory out in one form or another. We are seeing more books being published by airmen who claimed to be out in the forest, eit...

Re: Fans In The Home?
If I remember correctly from my physics class too many years ago the moving air causes our sweat to evaporate which cools our skin by taking latent heat from our body.. It doesn’t cool the ambient room temp though. But you will feel cooler.

From a social media source I’m led to believe that Smoke coming out of a fan inside the aircraft was the apparent cause.

Strange that he is active on the forum but not responding to PMs or this thread. Should we all assume from this that Hernaman86 no longer wants any part of organising this tour?

Re: Radio or App ?
Hi Totally agree with Paddyboy here. 360 Radar is web based but totally accessible with mobile devices. Recommend browser is Firefox which is available as an app for free. I think subscription includes a 48 hr trial so if you don’t like you can cancel. But I can’t see why you won’t love it. One word...

Re: UK thunderstorms. Friday 27th July 2018.
Some lightning to the east and the west of me last night in Lowestoft. I little rain overnight but not much. Just a 10 minutes heavy shower this morning about 10:00. But that was all. Glad it is a touch cooler now.

Re: Newbie question -abbreviation
Thanks Paddyboy.
Its a shame there isnt a small section in the newbie area which explains abbreviations, terminology etc. It would imagine a lot of folk would find it quite helpful.
