Re: RIAT 25 Sunday Schedule - Any Ideas?
Hi Guys, Hoping for some guidance. I'll be attending RIAT 2025 on the Sunday, as a first timer. I know the programme isn't available in advance and I'm trying to get an idea of how the flying display scheduling has worked on previous RIAT Sundays. So, I know the display runs from 10am, I'm particul...

Re: RIAT 25 Sunday Schedule - Any Ideas?
Not much help but Sunday is usually the same display items as Saturday but in a different running order but also there maybe some additions or omissions so very difficult to predict what will be displaying when until you get the program Not always 2022 had the same running order for the display on ...

Re: RIAT 25 Sunday Schedule - Any Ideas?
Aviation club won’t give you priority access when you’re stuck in miles of traffic. If it’s your first time at RIAT you’re better getting there as early as you can as there’s loads to see on static etc as well as the flying. The flying will be 10am till 5pm ish based on previous, they usually sprea...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
I thought today's update was not bad at all, Glad the RAF Poseidon will be there very appropriate for the main theme. Still not heard anything about flypasts that were mentioned in a previous update, Also still nothing about what they are doing for Apache 50th which was mentioned a few weeks back. A...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Can't see what else it could be, but hey-ho. Talking of FB comments: 'Doesn't look like we'll be seeing any Turkish/Greek Phantoms this year...' RIAT replies, 'We can confirm the Turkish Air Force will not be participating at RIAT this year'. Hmmm... As usual absolute muppets on Facebook Turkey can...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
That's a brilliant update today really please to see the ATL2 Atlantique back after having to depart early before the 2018 show.
5 updates still to go and from what we have so far i think it's looking to be another cracking show.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
This week we have an assortment of aircraft joining our 'Eyes in the Skies' theme at RIAT25. Firstly, we're excited to confirm what will be one of the highlights of the flying display programme courtesy of the French Navy, with a rare appearance from their Atlantique maritime patrol aircraft. This a...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
The end of today's update says still plenty of exciting aircraft they are working on for the show so there is bound to be a few big updates in the last 6 updates and they still have not mentioned anything about the flypasts DBH mentioned in an earlier weekly update this year.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Blimey, this continues to feel really rather underwhelming this year. By my reckoning, we have just 125 aircraft due at the moment. 24 of them are listed as civilian. Only about 67 for static. Wednesday and Thursday arrivals could be pretty quiet, especially as they to seem to like to get a good fe...

This week we're pleased to announce two more flying displays for RIAT25! Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Feel like the last Austrian QRA display in 2020(?) was as good as it gets, would love to see that again in the future The QRA Demo was in 2022 and it was absolutely brilliant but that was only the 2nd time it was seen anywhere in the UK, The other time was back in 2013 so the chances of it coming b...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread
Since I was born in the late 70s there has been a war in every single decade since then, Falklands, Iraq 1, Bosnia war, Iraq 2, Afghanistan and loads of other little wars going on that we never hear about so I would hardly call it peacetime.
