Re: A pair of Providers
Super post - I remember missing them. Got over it now though. BARG reported them as bringing a group of veterans to Europe, staging through Mildenhall 21/22 May en-route to Rhein Main, returning on the 26 May. I only recall seeing 6 C-123's - 2 of those based at Sembach in the 60's and 4 Otis based...

Nice shots. Close up would have lost the "feel" of the smokey take off.

I recall access to the Bapteme de l'air flights being by lucky programme number in the main. Nice you got on one though, they've not got much longer to go.

Re: RSAF C-54A wftu Jeddah
I went to the museum on a "team building" visit (my team, my choice :-) in 2014. Although the outside exhibits were looking a bit rough, due mostly to the climate, the ones inside were immaculate. As the museum as adjacent to the very large Riyadh airbase, we were followed around by security discret...

Re: NAS Mayport
Nice shots.
I had a tour here in 92 but the PAO was away sick and we were literally marched off base by security after being asked if we'd got permission from the Pentagon for the tour (not withstanding the confirmation letter from the PAO office!).
Win some, lose some I suppose.

Some nice shots there. Great few days to be in the area. I think your Russian is a Ka.31 rather than a 27 though.

Great shots, with fantastic light. Looks like they've toned down all of the unit markings recently.

Re: Hyakuri this morning OMG!!!! F-4's
Fantastic shots. I love the special schemes. Someone clearly though about these (and the men in accounts clearly signed off the cheque to get them done), shame we can't seem to have access to the same chequebook.

Interesting capture. Are the ones at Luke likely to be delivered soon, or will they remain for crew training for a while? I will be at Luke in March 2019, and it would be nice to get some Aussies!
