Re: Cobra Warrior 23-2
Hi guys, I work all week so no chance of getting there to see activity. Is there anywhere AT ALL to park on a weekend when the WAVE is closed just for me to log the aircraft? I dont mind a little walk if need be. Mainly the Hornets that I'm after. Thanks You can't really log anything from the wave,...

So did anyone in P&V East today (Thursday) manage to see the other B52 that is parked on static. I couldn't spot it anywhere.

Thanks for all the information everyone. We will definitely invest in a trolley to help bring all of our necessities from the car. Here is to a great RIAT 2023!

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Quick question guy's, I'm attending Thursday's Park and View for the first time with my dad in his 70's. What sort of distance is the walk between the parking and where you view the arrivals? Is it similar to show days or not as far? Just trying to work out if we should buy one of those trolleys tha...

Re: Robin Hood Doncaster to close.
Latest news, a consortium from the UAE in talks with Peel with an offer significantly over the current site value. They could make a soap opera out of this one. Fingers crossed but just because the bid is over current value that doesn't account for what projected value Peel see for the site when the...

Re: Queen's Funeral visitors thread.
Thinking about a 3hr drive to STN tomorrow, do you think it would be worth it with most having dispersed elswhere? Could some start flooding back in the afternoon after the funeral to pick up their passengers or more likely to spend another night in the UK?

Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
In my opinion as the 7 ship at RIAT this year they did look a little tired and unpolished in their performance. I ranked them only 3rd behind the Black Eagles and the Italians in terms of the display and the tightness of formation which is unlike the reds, we always associate with them as 'the best ...

Re: Friday 01-07-2022
Not sure where best to ask this so apologies if it is not in the right place. I remember reading that the BTF deployments to FFD were due to be 4 times a year. Is that still the plan for this year seen as we are around half way through 2022 and have only had 1 albeit a much extended one? Or could th...

Re: RIAT '22 Tickets
Anyone had any joy from any of the waiting lists? I'm down for 2 tickets for the Monday departures but not really expecting any joy and I doubt I will have much luck convincing my dad to be up at the crack of dawn to queue for tickets on the day. Might end up being plan B just abandoning the idea an...

Re: Jubilee Flypast from the South Bank
I was going to go up there but having seeing the queue of people waiting for the gate to open at 12 I stuck with Embankment Bridge instead and was a little less side on to the aircraft than I had hoped. These photos sir are fantastic and unbelievably clear. We'll done.

Re: Mildenhall 29/04/2022
Hi all. Wondered if anyone could help. Visited yesterday (Saturday 30th). I used Slogan's log from 29th for a little help with the KC10's because of the heat haze. The 3rd one listed as 84-0289 McGuire I cannot find it anywhere on the log program I use, nor can I see it with a quick Internet check. ...

Re: The Ukraine Situation
Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere, I have not been all over this much today but I wondered if either of the Capital's civilian airports had been hit with potential airframes destroyed?
