Re: New England 30 March 2025

Thanks Koen. With some research done today it seems that 69-0024 was the 436AW C-5M on the flightline. It arrived from Dover AFB on 19.02., departed to Dover on 03.04. So, believing in ADSB info I have read 2 C-5s, but all 6 seen seem to be clear. At least: the only important one I could read ... No...

New England 30 March 2025

First visit to the 'new USA', a biz trip with no spotting planned, i.e. very small spotting tools only (200 mm lens + 'opera glasses'). Had some time to kill on Sunday 30th March though, so I made short stops at: Bradley IAP, CT 84-0210, 92-1453, 93-1457, 93-2042, 95-6712 all C-130H 118th AS, CT-ANG...

Leeming 06/02/25

After my unlucky visit later afternoon of the 5th, I tried my luck again just before 9 a.m. on the 6th, had to leave then. With the 3 Chinooks gone, and still camera / lens issues + light behind the Hawks, here is what I could get out of my poor photos. Flight line from left to right: ZB135 ZB132 (?...

Re: Chinook

Hello and thanks for the feedback first of all. Having been on a biz trip with little time, and not with all proper spotting tools, I only took a few minutes, relying on my camera, which possibly has an isue (or the lens). So, lack of light wasn't the only issue as it seems now. Even cecking the pho...

Re: Chinook

What I can confirm that 3 Chinooks were present when I arrived late afternoon, with not enough light left to even identify the 5 QAF Hawks parked out there.
According to ADSB, ZB131, ZB133 and ZB138 departed 1/2 hour later, and also ZA720 showed up on ADSB.

visit 23/24 March

Hi all, I am definitely a newbie here, with too little hobby activity in general. But anyhow, so I just ask. Our plan was visiting UK on March 23/24, for the last Cobra Warrior Missions and some other stuff in the region. Now the rumour is out that the Friday mission(s) won't happen, as the Fins sha...

Re: aircraft at waddo

Hi all, With some difficulty squeezing in a short trip to UK this week, and being far away next week, I wonder whether the F-15s are staying for the full 3 weeks of the exercise. Any indication that participants might leave earlier? Similar issue I have with the B-2s at Fairford .... Thanks in advan...

Re: B 2 stealths at fairford

Back to some more practical question, about the length of their stay. 2 months would be great, but hard to believe. on scramble.nl a date of 13.09. was given, which would make it 2 weeks. Sounds more likely, but is there any valid information so far?

thanks in advance, regards
Martin
