Re: F1 2025
If a driver accumulates 12 penalty points over a 12 m0nth period, then he may receive a 1 race ban.. Ask Kevin Magnussen. He received a 1 race ban for having 12 points last season. Verstappen needs to be very careful now. Points remain on your licence for 12 months Hedge. If you receive a ban, then ...

Re: F1 2025
What a petulant pr..k. Throwing away Constructors Points worth much money!! and ruining [I hope} his chances of the Drivers Championship. Wish Ferrari and Lewis would sort out the car's rear!!!. He is 1 License Point away from a race ban with much of the year to go.

Re: Electricity meter certificate expired
I don't have a Smart meter, but I do have solar panels. Am bombarded with 'Energy Efficiency' calls mostly twice a day. Didn't know there were so many energy 'experts' out there, wanting to check this, wanting to check that!. I can tell that they are working at their full capacity, so don't spend mu...

Good one C.24. She and her partner have had his and her Porsche's for years until recently, but never been particularly interested in racing or flying [my passions] now a child has come along. Volvo SUV now. Ferrari looking good in practice1. :thumb: However bad the racing is, it is still worth watc...

Re: Air Force Elite Thunderbirds
Just a bit of detail.. The Indian Springs accident was not caused by someone being out of position. A line abreast loop was being performed. Everybody is looking right towards the leader to keep their position. On the downside of the loop, the leader [as per official report] had an elevator malfunct...

Re: F1 2025
I thought Monaco was farcical to be honest. I hope it won't be repeated in that form next year!!. I did watch the Indy 500, tho' TBH I sped through the recording. [Teresa is an Athletics fan, so the big Tele had that for 2 hours]. It is always dramatic tho' difficult to follow at times. Slightly unf...

Re: F1 2025
It IS of interest!. It's part of F.1 history!!. I remember their last driver, Larry Perkins, when asked how the car was when it was trying to qualify for a Brands Hatch G.P. he described it thus 'Lets see. It's slow up the hill, slow down the hill, slow on the straights, and slow in the corners....w...

Re: F1 2025
Wish I had made Monza!!. Had it booked with a flight on a B.707 for the day, but had to cancel with pressure of work. Sadly, Ronnie Petersen's crash occurred, so in a way I was glad to have missed it. Succeeded in making Watkins Glen, Montreal, Monaco, Zandvoort, Jarama for overseas G.P.s. Still fit...

Beltoise was a lucky man. He was married to Francois Cevert's sister, who was a very beautiful lady. Looking forward to a good [and possibly exciting] week-end of racing. Don't forget Indy 500 on Sunday!!.

Re: F1 2025
Marko in a Yardley sponsored BRM I think, Not the same race as mine. Mine was in the dry and sunshine. Guess there are quite a lot of people on here who don't realise that he was an F.1 driver. He lost an eye when a stone went through his visor, which halted his career.

Re: F1 2025
I agree with Pune, particularly with regard to Schumacher. A flawed genius who was at times a blatant cheater. Those of us around at the time could can come up with a whole catalogue of unacceptable and downright dangerous moves!!. I would add Nico Rosberg to his list. The year he won his championsh...

Re: AF1 and gas n go
Well aware of weight limits etc., but the fact remains that there are many airports that a 747-8 is capable of operating from, so finding one at which to refuel etc. would not be too much of a problem. Some limitations of course.

Re: AF1 and gas n go
A380 has some 30 feet longer wingspan than 747-8, yet even little Birmingham handles them, so I would imagine plenty of other airports are more than capable of it as well.
