This week's update is focused on a fantastic contribution from the Italian Air Force to RIAT25! Starting with the flying display; we're pleased to welcome back the Frecce Tricolori to RAF Fairford to perform their iconic formation display routine. This year marks the team's 65th Anniversary and we'...

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 General Discussion Thread

It was always gonna be a fair few Helis given how they meet the theme of SAR

To be honest I'm not really bothered we've had some gems so far

Especially that S-76C

Globe Sentinel has quote tweeted the previous tweet with “CMB flights expected over the next couple weeks”.

Personally I’m willing to wait until wheels on tarmac

But this account is usually spot on

We shall see

Re: Palma 23 August 2024 - CN235, Super Puma and S76 help

After a bit of digging

One of the CN-235s based at Palma is reported to be T.19B-06/ D.4-05 from a photo from May 2024 and it's been based there for a while. For other I'm not so sure but will keep digging.

The other one from what I can find is T.198-09 / D.4-02

Son San Joan

Super Puma parked on the ramp and two CN-235 in the hangar with their tails sticking out all noted while sat awaiting clearance on 24R. Tried to record their serials but ATC had other ideas!

Base aérea de Son San Juan

Short trip earlier bagged a EC-135 of the Guardia Civil. (HU.26-28) which was in and out as CUCO314. Local CN-235 was parked in the big ALA 49 hangar with its tail poking out and a SAR Super Puma was parked out on the ramp. In the smaller hangar was a Casa 212. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to read of...
