Re: Farnborough 2024 - 22-26 July
Does anyone know what's happened to the Hurjet?
The show website still has it as static (it was originally due to fly) but I haven't seen any confirmation that it's actually there!

Re: Sea Wings 2000 Spitfires
The Dutch one was registered G-HVDM at the time.
My own log for this event includes three unidentified RN Merlins parked on the dockside - any info on these?

Re: French Army Alouettes, early 1980s
Thank you for the replies, and the link to a fascinating website!
I believe I've sorted 4 out of 6, with just AOR and AOY outstanding, if anyone else sees this.

French Army Alouettes, early 1980s
Hoping someone might be able to provide c/ns for the following Alouettes sighted on trips to France, identified only by 3-letter codes:
Nancy, 21/8/81: AOR, AOT, AOY, AOZ
Montpellier, 2/7/84: CAJ, CCG
Thanks for looking,
Keithjb.

Farnborough 15/8/95 - Helicopter formation
This was, I believe, a rehearsal for a flypast to mark the *50th* anniversary of VJ Day. From my vantage point I was unable to see any serials or codes, but logged them in my diary as follows: 2x Chinook 3x Sea King HC.4 3x Puma 2x Sea King (1 yellow, 1 red & grey) 2x Wessex 1x Gazelle 3x Lynx (1 wi...

Farnborough 16/12/04 - Two Tornadoes
I've forgotten the occasion, but two Tornadoes visited Farnborough on 16/12/04:
One was ZE942/XE, an F.3. Can anyone identify the other, which was a GR?
Thanks,
keithjb.

Just one possibility from my own travels:
WS-03 seen at El Toro 25/4/92 was 162409.

Re: USS Eisenhower in Stokes Bay, 02-June-1984
Thank you gents, you've helped clear up a high percentage of my queries.
I've detected one error in the useful hampshireairfields site: the S-3A serial 158863 (AG-710) is also given as the identity of the A-7E AG-310! Can anyone offer a correction?
Thanks again,
keithjb.

Re: USS Eisenhower in Stokes Bay, 02-June-1984
Many thanks Tom, that fills a lot of gaps. I believe I can add two to this log: 149942 KA-6D AG-514 160007 E-2C AG-602 I also had a 2nd EA-6B, 161245, although I have the code for this as AG-605 with no code recorded for 161242. I am left with the following still unidentified, if anyone else can hel...

USS Eisenhower in Stokes Bay, 02-June-1984
Can anyone provide a log of the aircraft embarked during the above visit, please?
I managed to obtain a lot of the individual aircraft codes, but do not have these tied up to the full serials.
MTIA, keithjb.
