Re: MCAS Iwakuni, 13.02.24
Oh Wow!
Absolutely fantastic.
I was fortunate to be in Japan in 2019 but only managed to see Naha and view the various types at Futenma from afar. I would have loved to have seen a US-2.
You have inspired me to return so very many thanks for such an excellent post

A superbly captured selection.
I particularly liked the Gnat as it reminded me of 'The Reds' in the 70's airshows.

Re: XXX Northolt Night Shoot
Truly excellent!
The Orion shots have to be my favourite followed by that glorious Sea King.
I was very fortunate to see the Orion gleaming in the sunshine over Torquay during it's tour of the South West prior to positioning at Northolt.
A great selection and thanks for sharing them

Re: Dunkeswell and Portland.
Always love quality Sea king captures and those warships are a triumph. Thanks for sharing your superb captures  'Auto-correction' is also a smokescreen for my early onset brain-fade, but I'm pretty sure they're AH-64E Gun ships? ;) Very nice Gunships! Ah, perhaps I should have sa...

A fabulous set
Tooms will always be my favourite fighter but the Strat really steals the show for me.

Re: Gaydon Air Display in the 1960's
A super set of pics and the black & white images really adds to the nostalgic effect.
I never saw a Valiant in the air but I can remember seeing Javelins operating out of Chivenor in the late 60's (with Meatboxes and Hunters).
Thanks for sharing them

Re: RAF BINBROOK hangar tour 9th July 1987
Excellent post! It reminded me of the excellent (at the same time sad) day during the following month when the final Binbrook airshow occurred (22/8/87). I made a special trip with friends from Bournemouth that day to attend the show and I remember seeing all those lovely frames in hangars, outside...

Re: TC-135W RAF Waddington 25/1/24
It's a far cry from what it was when it was a C-137B with 89 MAW and I have to salute the USAF for keeping their veteran birds lookng so pristine. Superb captures and thanks for sharing them  I think it was a C-135 not a C-137? Ah yes, thanks Alf for spotting my error  a C-135B it cer...

SPLENDIFEROUS!
A superb post of a truly great frame.
I remember how they would glide almost silently along the 'Red One' airway in the 60's and 70's
I love the old pistons so thanks for making an old enthusiast tremendously happy
