In this day and age there is really no excuse for inaccurate or poor reporting. There is so much info available online and plenty of people to ask to get it right. Although we may not expect the BBC to get it right, we really should - they are supposed to be professionals and a world-class channel....

I've previously watched flypasts on Waterloo Bridge but for the Jubilee was in the middle of the Hyde Park Corner roundabout where there was a big enough gap in the surrounding trees for a very good view.

I was in Green Park, very close to The Mall and had a great view as the display flew virtually overhead. I took a video so a couple of screenshots are below - the Typhoons in CR formation and the Red Arrows with the Envoy IV.

US military aircraft avoiding Belgium airspace?

I've noticed that US military aircraft seem to avoid flying over Belgium airspace when in some cases it would be the shortest route between two places. I guess it's for a political reason but just wondering why?

A bit of a lurker here for some time, the G7 activity plus Typhoons crossing London, where I'm based, the other week, prompted me to register so as to enjoy the forum properly.
