Hello, i have just returned from a very enjoyable trip to switzerland for the WEF patrol missions and the wiederholungskurs at Meiringen. It was very cold :) but i liked it, although some of my equipment didn't.... my 7D went dead because of very cold batteries, i had to warm them up in my gloves :n...

Great set despite the challenging light conditions and patches of ground fog.

I watched it from the mound but from there it looked more like a fast run in en then break for landing. It wasn't looking that impressive compared to other base attacks i have seen. Most spectacular thing was the breakchute malfunctioning after landing, it came loose immediately after deployment. Gr...

It was definately "dark green".

Just got home in the Netherlands so i will try to get some photos up now that i have a "proper" internet connection.
Pictures from the chinook won't be that good because it passed in front of the sun on landing and departed from the other runway.
