Re: FRIAT Mach 3 Park and View Options

There's usually not much,...

Re: FRIAT Mach 3 Park and View Options

I personally found the FRIAT grandstand to be great for departures in 2019...alas I be back down the Eastern end. Enjoy! thanks James, the last 2 times I didnt do the departures, to avoid extra nights accommodation and knowing I would be absolutely knackered after 5 days at the airfield. This time ...

Re: FRIAT Mach 3 Park and View Options

Those areas are known as "park and view". Just follow the yellow "Park and View" road signs to get to them. You definitely need to be early to grab a good spot in the eastern park and view! thanks nick, I remember the approaches to the base being quite convoluted with road closures funneling traffi...

A Lucky First Trip to the Lakes LFA

A great day for me, a first capture of LF F-35s and A400, plus a pair of F-15s and Omani Hawks. The F-35s gave me a private airshow it seemed passing low overhead, I was still shaking 15 mins later https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52087534244_05a87e940e_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5...
