Possibly ZM733 and 735 were operating as NEMESIS and routed Staverton - Wales around 2.30pm so that would tie in, unless it was a Middle Wallop pair

I am really struggling to understand a lot of the headsup posts in the last few months. Classic examples include missing out the aircraft type and talking about things without any context even if I look elsewhere in the topic suc as an example that sparked me to write this - 'it will be interesting...

Thanks both for you polite replies - as I said there is a lot of hard work that goes into making this site great, just difficult and frustrating when you are reading a topic and have no idea what it is about.

The third Tracker was never converted to a fire bomber. It is an ex Royal Canadian Navy CS2F-2, C-FLRD

I think there was only 1 Czech TU-154 in service at that time - Serial 1016 - it was very active that year.

Absolutely stunning Mic, although am sure you moaned to me once about climbing up the slope to Deptford when we were with my nephew!
