I've heard there is a 737-800 being converted to a trainer for the E-6B crews in Oklahoma City, not sure what the military designation is though.

Re: Russian aircraft drone attack
Drones are completely changing warfare, not hard to imagine an enemy of the US knocking out 40 B-52s from a couple of trucks like that! I wonder what Putin's response will be? I wonder what Trump's / US military / Homeland Security response with be ? Visits and photography has been hard enough arou...

I think many of us expected the 389th back through after the 391st went down.

Re: Lakenheath Visitor Summary - 2025
This recent influx of C-17s and the Omni Air 767, does this point to the 389thFS coming back through soon or another deployment for the 48thFW?

Re: Trump announces Michigan ANG A-10s to be replaced by F-15EX
The EX with CFTs has all the capabilities of the F-15E and I think the plan for most of the units getting them is to utilise all that capability. All the original batch funded were already assigned to replace F-15Cs in a few ANG units and the Kadena Eagles, so this must be a follow on order. I wonde...

I wouldn't bother if todays stream is anything to go by. Camera work is atrocious and it kept stuttering like it's 1999!

Re: N a s fallon
Well that rather depends on what you want. With decent optics/cameras you will get plenty of serials if they fly. You won't get photos worthy of the photo section, but not all of us are that interested in doing that.... Yes I was referring to taking photos, apologies. I personally wouldn't risk it ...

Base visits ended when Zip retired a couple of years ago. They chase you away outside. Honestly not worth going there now sadly.

Re: US pausing Military aid to Ukraine
War crimes is overkill but his decision to withdraw Intel on Russian attacks on civilian targets will mean that civilians will get killed, that's disgusting. Where is his reciprocal pressure on Russia?

Re: US pausing Military aid to Ukraine
"For clarity: Trump’s decision to halt the sharing of U.S. intelligence with Ukraine means that American satellites will witness Russian bombers taking off with missiles aimed at civilian buildings, hospitals, energy, and transport infrastructure and U.S. authorities will consciously choose to watch...

Re: US pausing Military aid to Ukraine
If Trump has to withdraw military support and intelligence to a country being illegally invaded to get his "deal" then he's already lost the argument.

Re: Canada and the F-35
The real key to the F-35s success isn't stealth, it's the integrated electronics that give the pilot unparalleled Situational Awareness. This real-time data connection totally depends on the US allowing it, if a operating nation upsets the orange man-baby he could force it to be cut, rendering the j...

Re: US pausing Military aid to Ukraine
You miss the point of the backstop entirely, it's so that America is invested in the peace deal and not there to just take the Ukrainian minerals and they know Putin would have to keep his word, something nobody can trust without a powerful deterrent. Trump's reluctance is clearly because he has cap...
