Re: 2024 Typhoon Display Jet
........I saw a rendered proposition for what it should have been at the time - pretty much what "GiNA" became and almost what "Moggy" (sorry, purists!) now is. I can't wait to sketch it! Neil Having followed you for a good while now and seen your art through MWM and associated pages, I don't doubt...

Re: 2024 Typhoon Display Jet
Edit: looking back on the photos now, the ones on the wings look fine, its the fuselage as thunder stated, especially in this shot: https://media.licdn.com/dms/image/D4E10AQGcB6mGMr4ibw/image-shrink_1280/0/1713800490090?e=1714561200&v=beta&t=4FGpH7v1J7cRYUysfOVcSUwpgBGBn6LyPNMeHJUL8kk I agree. Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
From reading the reports there has been almost 100% change in personnel so I have confidence that there will be changes in culture - a reset. To some hardened plane watchers like us the reds probably do seem routine but that is only because we have seen them too many times. But you only need to see...

Re: RAF discrimination
I've been following Tim Davies on Youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcBnldsmglE ) for a while now and I fear that if it wasn't for him, Grp Captain Nicholl and Deborah Haynes, ACM Wigston and Ben Wallace would still have been getting away with this. I personally don't care who is flying man...

Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2023
Lovely images in what was awful light for photography. I've been without a lens for aviation photography for a few years now and was scanning all sorts of websites to get one in time for Cosford - then I remembered where the sun usually is and decided I didn't need to worry my bank manager that week...

Aviation Art
Hello everybody, I have for sale a couple of my aviation pencil drawings. "BlackJack", which I drew near Crash Gate 1 at RAF Coningsby recently (mostly, I didn't quite get to finish it that day), which was a great experience as I usually draw at the comfort of my drawing board, not the front seat of...

Re: 1986 Leicester Air Show (oh for a time machine)
It was our local and for a good while a brilliant air show. I still have the programmes from the shows we attended. F104's used to frighten the life out of me when I was a kid, they were so impressive! I think it was '86 that Stoughton had it's runway lengthened and a 104 did a touch and go... I rea...

Re: First Time Visitor.
I was camping in Predannack last week and it was relatively quiet, but seemed to come alive a little more at night..
Also, on thursday, there was quite a lot of Jet activity in the area. Sadly, I didn't have my camera so I couldn't see what was flying!

Re: de Havilland Mosquito to be made airworthy at Biggin
Who cares how it's described,it's a chance to have a flying Mosquito! When all these restored/new Spitfires started to appear on the circuit, this arguement raised it's head....it's another airworthy Spitfire,I don't give a monkeys how much of an original actually goes into the build or whatever you...

Re: Eagle TAKING THE WIRE!
Brill! The only time i've been to Lakenheath, this happened. Think it was between Christmas and New Year 2011/2012. Met Stig. Nice chap. Anyway, same thing, one of the air intakes was stuck in the "up" position. Not sure what it meant, whether an engine was shut down, if it was a drill, or whatever....
