Re: 10-09-2020 The Captain's log
Cheers. I was heading back to my car thinking that was it for departures when the F15's appeared so probably got disorientated with them passing trying to get each one with my camera. Then as I carried on to my car that's when I saw two more F16's depart.

Cheers Scott and thank you, rechecked my photos and notes have edit the list above for XX968/AJ. Looks like a typing error on my part transfering my notes to the computer, than an error in my notes.

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow- Sunday 11th June 2017
Here is my log from the Cosford Airshow in order of my notes on the day. I have been meaning to attend this show for years but work commitments keep getting in the way. This was my first Cosford Airshow. The weather just played ball a bit windy and one shower, it didn't stop me enjoying myself and I...

Re: RAF Cosford Airshow- Sunday 11th June 2017
Does anyone have the serial of the display Apache. I have looked at various photos and can't see a serial, maybe it was so faint like the Puma serial. First time for me at this Airshow and loved every minute of it.

Re: Info request on FSM RAF Hawks
This is what I have so far from Show reports and posts I have seen. Starting from 1980. Only because I saw my first Plastic Hawk in 1981. So its looking like:- BAPC-152 XX162 1980- until somewhere between 1984-1992. Then XX263 1994- to either 1995 or 96. Then XX226 1997 or two years before and still...

Re: Info request on FSM RAF Hawks
Hi Bob,
Having not seen XX263, XX227 and XX308 as I think FSM's I saw XX263 at Fairford 2010 Union Jack tail, XX227 at Woodford 1982 as a Red Arrow, XX308 Red Arrow at Blackpool 2006 all I assume the real McCoy. Did realise these serials were also Plastic Models.

Re: Info request on FSM RAF Hawks
Cheers Hendon,
Would of thanked you earlier, but couldn't get on webpage all Friday. Seems ok now. Maybe that might be the route to take and have a look through Scramble show reports to se if any FSM's where logged.

Re: Info request on FSM RAF Hawks
Cheers Buzzer,
I also came across the same info on The South Wales Aviation Group site list of BAPC numbers. Still haven't come across any dates from when say XX162 wore that particular serial to the next one.
much appreciated

Info request on FSM RAF Hawks
I don't know if this is the right place to ask. I was logging up my trip to Fairford 2014 Monday departures and came across XX162 BAE Hawk, which I originally noted as a FSM at Farnborough in 1982. I have tried to investigate the serials of the two Hawk FSM BAPC-152 and 171 and the more I do the mor...
