Which is why I don't understand the police helicopter. I suppose they have the ability to land and arrest someone, but don't think it is that useful. I suppose it is for their video recording and laser pen gizmo for gathering evidence of needed.

Does anyone know if the Police helicopter escort is anything but showmanship? Just seen the Seakings and Chinnoks go overhead up to Stansted and they were doing the whole changing positions, but surely an RN/RAF/Army helicopter escort would be better as they have countermeasures and could carry more...
