Hello Bob

Thank you for your reply/

I must have an old map on Google as the link you sent me is showing no aircraft where the 'pin' is.

Kind regards

Re: Canon EF100-400 Mk1 Lens cleaning & service

Hello Tim

Not knowing where you live, there is or was a place that I used a few years ago on the edge of Colchester that gave a good service for cleaning and repairing Canon equipment.

Re: Canon R7 "Black out"

Hello Andy and Mark

I have spent a few pennies in only buying the Canon batteries and Scandisk 300w/s 64GB memory cards, so I don't think it is either of theses. But thanks for your thoughts and replies.

Kind regards

Re: Canon R7 "Black out"

Hello AndyXYZ Thank you for your reply and it was exactly the same for me. Taking a burst of shots and then the viewfinder blacked out. As mentioned earlier I did not have to go to taking the battery out, but just took my finger of the shutter button and then put my finger back on and it seem to cle...

Re: Canon R7 "Black out"

Hello Charles Thank you for your reply. Because it went black I stopped taking photos, I took my finger off the shutter button so no photo's. I think this was more of me in panic mode more than anything else. I went out yesterday afternoon and rattled off 195 photo's of the local wildlife with no bl...

Canon R7 "Black out"

Afternoon All Any Canon R7 users out there, can you help me and friend? Whilst at Mildenhall during the week in Johns Field photographing the SP F-16s and other aircraft, I had an issue that I had not come across before . Up until this point everything was going well and was in fact my first time ou...

Re: Canon R7 focusing

Hello All Just a quick update on what my friend has found out since you have all replied. He previously had a Canon 7Dmk2 and thought that he could set his R7 with similar settings plus using the vehicle mode - it doesn't work like that. The R series of cameras are a whole new ball game, and you bas...

Fingers crossed and Canon do bring out a Firmware update that will include planes in the vehicle tracking for the R7

Re: Canon R7 focusing

Hello Jason Thank you for your reply and I shall pass this on to my friend. Was there a particular you tube tutorial my friend should watch; can you recall the one you watched as the settings could be similar for the R7 which my friend has. I will also suggest to him to see if there is any YT tutori...

Re: Canon R7 focusing

Hi Davem

If you are still out there, can you point my friend in the right direction to find the "Lens Drive when autofocus impossible" please. I assume it is in one of the menus on the camera?
