Im new to photography, Could anyone advise on the difference between the canon Back colored 70 to 300 is lens and the
more expensive grey colored 70 to 300 is .lens
I believe the later grey len have glass lens, does this really make a difference.

I very much doubt they are Mk II Spits. They may be Merlin powered, but no way are they Mk II`s if they were shipped out to Burma in mid 1945.
