Re: Italian Navy EH101 in Portsmouth

Hi Winchester MGF. Good to meet you and Dave yesterday. Thanks for posting the above images. I have just looked at mine, taken from Clarence Yard on the Gosport side and can just make out the code 2-21. Sods Law saw this at Devonport a while back.

Re: A400 serial help

The Airframe was @ Fairford in 2019 registered to Airbus as EC 400 ( said to become ZM 420 ) I seem to recall that ZM 420 was not delivered to the RAF until late last year and is said to be back with Airbus at the moment. I have seen it flying many times but have yet to read it off. Seems we might h...

Re: Military Aircraft Markings 2023

Being an OLD FART, I am also for books as I do not have or indeed want a smart phone or I pad thingy. MAM is an excellent book thanks to the years of dedication of Howard Curtis. I do wonder if there is still a need to include the section on M numbers and Ships Flights identities anymore. I cannot r...

Re: C130 retirement tour route 14th June

Yet again the South West of England ignored. We have seen them flying over the Mendips almost every weekday since they were introduced to service. Surely they have also paid many visits / flybys over the likes of Yeovilton Culdrose and St Mawgan

Thank you Sam for the reply.
Its along time since we met you and your dad on a boat trip around a US Carrier in Stokes Bay. I had just bought a digi camera and you kindly gave some advice on settings for it and later sent me an image of F-18's on the hangar deck.

Re: Friday 16-09-2022

Good Morning Everyone,
Can any one please advise if the C-32A is staying at Fairford - might it be what some call the escape jet for POTUS.
Was there yesterday (100 mile trip) to see the C-17A so I don't want to make a wasted journey.

AMX Tail schemes

I noticed that the AMX bore two schemes on its tail which were shown on the checklist as with every other painted Aircraft be it in Anniversary or Tiger Marks as just being Special = S . I am guessing the 213 i verdi markings on the Port side refers in some way to the Italian composer but what does ...
