Re: D-DAY Fiasco
I remember 8 years ago (before any brexit naysayers get involved) when there was an exercise in the UK. Swedes, French and Germans doing para jumps into the UK. They were given the offer of landing first and clearing immigration or being met immediately after the jump. They chose the latter. This is...

Re: Army, Navy, RAF severe cuts
I haven't seen the whole review yet but I'm fearful that something might have to be sacrificed to pay for all of the drones, cyber warfare and space programmes. I hope I'm wrong!! This will be exactly true. Yes there is a huge increase in spending. But over 4years. Not a permanent increase. Plus no...

Re: $200k+ Replacement chase cars for U-2
Would they not do the same as the RAF done from Cyprus and send them over on a space available basis with the proviso that if anything went wrong your car was on the ramp and it was first off if it had to lose weight. But they probably never had to leave the ballast in the boot for the movers/crew. ...

Re: B52 Arrivals 28/08/19
Vulcan, not sure on whether any equipment stayed from January. So can't really comment on that But the ample strike 'poster info' did show buffs but didn't specify they were being based out of the UK. They could possibly be doing constant GPM this year or even operating from an already based locatio...

Re: An-225
Further to this Athens are reporting a 24 hour delay at their location, further suggests a 1700L arrival at Brize too.

I would say if it was a delay it's probably a straight 24 hours. Meaning a 1700L arrival today.

Re: Notam 16/1/15
So, there is some activity (a car going to and from the KC hangar) but otherwise quiet! I'm guessing the NOTAM is still up? Wind is nice and calm etc so will wait and see. Does anyone know if they prepped them indoors yesterday and then towed out? They were prepped outside, well 74 was anyway, befo...

Did anyone else notice that the QUID was trailing the hose?
hopefully it didn't catch the runway on an approach.
