Re: TAC Blaze, RAF Spadeadam - 10th April 2025

Nice set, the last Chinook is nice, but shot 13 is my winner, the two Apaches.

Excellent set of images, hard to pick a favourite, but the two Apaches together with the grass flying around is lovely.

Re: My RIAT 2024 a volunteers perspective

Very nice Kevin. The F-15QA in shot 41 is great, as is the Italian in 44 with the nice backdrop. Trying to work out where you were for 30 (FB-17) and 31 (SP), were you elevated somewhere near P&V West during the NATO flypast.

Nice shots, especially the CH-53s. Mustang 531, are you not going to the wings and wheels event on the 13th.

Re: Tac Blaze Carlisle 17 June 24

Nice one Danny, no doubt see you around over the next few weeks. Seems like the Apaches are operating from the 19 runway end and they repositioned last night facing to the south. Q-40 and 42, plus D-605 flew last night till quite late (D-605 back at 1015pm).

TAC Blaze 2023 - Carlisle Week 3

Final week of TAC Blaze 2023, with the helicopters all departing on Thursday (1st) at 1300hrs to Northolt for a gas and go, eventually arriving at Gilze Rijen at 1900hrs. There has been some very good images from the exercise, especially from all the guys who spent a lot of time at Spadeadam. Well d...

Re: Tac Blaze Tue 30th May

Another great set there Danny. Hard to pick from, but I would say number 1 Chinook chaff shot and number 3, first time all four Chinooks were up on the same sortie. D-603 had to return back to its parking spot tonight after making it to the runway for the last sortie of the day.

Really nice set, those first Apache shots are great with such good and varied backgrounds typical of Spadeadam.

Fabulous set. Can't help looking at number 20, that F-4E with it's chute and that background.

TAC Blaze 2023 - Carlisle Week 2

Second week completed, with the flying intensifying, particularly on Thursday evening (25th). The fourth CH-47F (D-603) arrived on Tuesday, although I don't think it has flown yet on any missions. All the helicopters are currently parked over by the new terminal for the bank holiday weekend, and the...

Yes, great to have them back, it's been a long time. Second shot, Cougar against the trees looks good. All the best, be aware that there should be a fourth Chinook arriving tomorrow.

Re: Exercise TAC Blaze - RAF Spadeadam

Excellent set there Danny. Really like those Apache shots, especially the second shot with the one behind. Trying to picture where that was shot from, with that small road below (western end of Wylie Sike ?)

Re: MH.1521 Broussard [ G-CLLK ]

Just to add to this, I was trying to put together the history of this aircraft, and the Broussard production list and identities can be rather confusing. It is the seventh civil MH-1521C aircraft and allocated the number 005C and was registered F-BICX in June 1957 (there were two pre-production civi...

Re: South Korean - Black Eagles

Just to add to this thread, M25 northern section heading westbound (to Boscombe I guess) were six trailers, three had a fighter jet on each in dark green purpose made bags, while the next two had what appeared to be a pair of engines on each in dedicated cases, while the sixth truck had maybe a tail...
