Re: miss pole ZZ491?

My instant gut feeling was that you would have "mis-wrote" a Wildcat.
Sure enough, here is ZZ391 on 22May:

Nice set!
Can you please reconfirm the serial of AD/262 please? This should be 166670 I think (and also reported as such in Mar25).

Re: N a s fallon

Well that rather depends on what you want.
With decent optics/cameras you will get plenty of serials if they fly.
You won't get photos worthy of the photo section, but not all of us are that interested in doing that....

Re: KC-46A

Looking at various tracking apps, Seymour Johnson based KC-46A 18-46056 doesn't seem to have flown since September 2023.
Does anyone know why this would be? Or am I mistaken?

Re: Is this true? Tell me it's not!

I wonder what legal basis the police have for issuing these letters. Be interesting to see what they'd do if someone challenged it. I'm afraid replies like that aren't particularly helpful. Perhaps I should lay my cards on the table. I am retired RAF, I was the SATCO (Senior Air Traffic Control Off...

Hi Andy, I can confirm from another source that it is actually 168708 (no code) and I have amended my image to reflect this.
Thanks for the confirmation Jason.

Can you please confirm 168702 YP/00?
This was YW/02 (Mar24-Nov24) and was still in VMM-165 marks in this photo taken 10Jan25: https://www.dvidshub.net/image/8826707/

PS
Prefer the grey T-45 scheme. Would be easier to read if I needed any :))

Re: Nellis 27/28 Jan 2025 - Red Flag

I was at Nellis 28/29 Jan. There were 14 HLs present at that time, all of which were read. 5239 5247 5273 5276 5281 5363 5368 5445 "421FS" 5454 5539 5585 5586 5609 5692 Four other serials seen earlier were not around: 5477 5538 "388OG" 5567 5607 I am painfully aware of this because I dropped all 14 ...

Hopefully the elusive Extra RJF 05 (JY-RJE) will appear this year, given the demise of RJF 02 (JY-RJB) in Sep24.

It went westbound in June, presumably for spannering.

I understand that too, but there are a vast pool of military aircraft that go in and out of Mildenhall that are recorded, for which as you say "for little point when most people will have already seen them".
