Saw one dipping below cloud on approach to 09 and heard another at the same time possibly do a missed approach. Both did not land and went back to Lakenheath I think ....... nice sound tho over south cerney.

Got to admit it's really weird to think it's coming here as we are all very used to seeing conventional aircraft at FFD. So how do they handle the Comms as the pilot where ever he is willing need to communicate with various controllers as it enters controlled airspace.

Hi all, there have been a few fast jet movements in and out in the past few days. One departed today around 12.50 . Didn't catch the Comms on my radio. Anyone know what's been occurring.

Straight over S Cerney after burners still engaged. Wow.

Over the past few years when either B52's or B1s deploy for a month or so there are usually 4 aircraft is my experience, they then normally fly usually 1 sortie per day but not every day, using 2 aircraft per sortie. But of course this is purely my memories of the past few deployments.

Quick question guys .....is this deployment part of an exercise normally something NATO based I recall but those are usually in March and or September. Thanks in advance.
