The wait is at maximum a few days currently, sometimes a week if the spam gets bad again. Sounds like he may have slipped through the spam net and either not been accepted or had his account deleted for not following the joining process correctly. If he can sign up again the team will get him accept...

Closing both of those lay-by’s is a ridiculous decision, because it won’t stop people, which will mean they’ll just park somewhere they shouldn’t instead.

Looking at various Facebook posts J-5238 departed home on Monday 25th and J-5008 has appeared as replacement at some point as it flew this afternoons sortie.
