Re: RJ will not move to Fairford
Sad news indeed. All that work for the fast fibre data network and now no user for it!
I guess that the runway underrun works and new hangar/admin buildings are also being scrapped if there is no longer a customer for them?....

Re: Notam 10-12-20
Ah cool - so you're saying 336 went from Cyprus to California via Korea or somewhere else in Asia? Cool, thanks. I never said anything of the sort - I said this is all the info I have, without evidence all else is postulation. Maybe it is a transpoder test on another jet with the original code? May...

Re: Notam 10-12-20
Only in so far as it was at FL600 and using transopnder hex code AE094B and was out of Palmdale on the 04/12/20. I have this hex code as matching the tail number I posted.
Maybe it is incorrect, these things happen.

28/08/20 missions.
B52 "NATO01"went down to the Black sea via Hungary. Also in the area was ZZ666 an RAF RC-135. Interesting pair up!
NATO01then tanked with Turkish Kc-135 "Asena22" and looks to be RTB over Greek airspace.
Anyone know where NATO04 went? I have not got anything on that one yet!

I wonder if the moderators could give a sticky for this deployment to contain all the info in as was done last year?

Microsoft are alpha testing a new version of Microsoft Flight Simulator!
From what I have seen it will be well worth the wait.

Re: Ear Defenders
I use a pair of Thunder29's by Howard Leight. They are a bit bulky, but there is space for both in ear and over ear and the sound isolation is great. They are designed for helicopter use so should be good. Try the online pilot supply stores, they should have them.
