Image stabilisation/s set to OFF You can get away with wider apertures. Use a cable release. Goes without mentioning sturdy tripod. Grey or not grey, they are a nice set of photos, I'm amazed at some were built in FY 1987. The original pilots sons will be flying them now!

For what it's worth, I used to use USB to upload from my Canon 1DX onto my PC without any issues. Nowadays, I have to use a memory card reader to upload the Fuji files.
As for wireless Fuji transfer, I've never tried it. The app is so infuriating that my phone would not stand me temper tantrum

Scanning negatives/slides it the most tedious of processes. See if you can get yourself a bulk scanner, either that or a macro lens and re-photograph them.

The best thing to do is a Google search or trawl through Youtube, you'll get plenty of inspiration there.
