Beginning of Spring at the 'Heath & 'Hall

Hoping this still counts as 'current' even if the trip was 3 months ago  Finally got round to uploading my edits from the morning spent at Lakenheath and then Mildenhall, before heading down to Northolt for their brilliant nightshoot. Great to see the WA jets, and the early morning departures r...

Re: Duxford Summer Airshow - 21st & 22nd June

That’s about right for airshows. Around £50 including parking, Shuttleworth charge £42 (well worth it!). RIAT is more, Cosford is similar… You pay, or you don’t pay

Re: F1 2025

Remember Vettel Hamilton Baku 2017? 10 second stop go penalty…this was more lenient. And Vettel should also have been disqualified from that race.

What a petulant child (again). How that’s not disqualification is beyond me.

On deployment - when you’ve made enough posts (10? I think) you’ll see the UK heads up and other sections where this sort of stuff is posted :)

Re: Liverpool Collision

Absolutely horrendous and sickening to see - if you don’t see it, try not to see it because it’s awful. No deaths reported just now at the update - 20 injured and treated at the site, 27 hospitalised including 4 children. 4 under the vehicle, including a child. 2 seriously injured in hospital includ...

Re: F1 2025

They need to have some kind of rule change for Monaco that punishes/prevents drivers deliberately slowing down and backing off to make huge gaps for teammates to be able to pit safely.

Re: F1 2025

Wow! What an amazing race! Glad to see the brilliant 2 stop idea worked wonders!! no matter how many stops it won’t make a difference.

Option 1 - Bin it off the calendar

Option 2 - Smaller cars

Re: LN Strike Eagles going home

Like Slogen said, this is all assuming something happens - it’s not actually officially confirmed. Mildenhall was officially closing, and then it wasn’t. Anything can change. What’s certain though, is some years in the future, they’ll disappear. So just make the most of what you’ve got and just enjo...

First LN Eagles are expected at SJ by this time next year so the rumours say
If you watch the video and the clip shown, nothing at all is decided yet, not even SJ. They might, but it isn’t confirmed.

Re: F1 2025

This is what I don’t understand. You could have 10 mandatory pit stops, but it doesn’t take away the fact that the cars are far too big for such a small circuit.

Re: F1 2025

Rightly or wrongly - Champions of Formula 1 have always been “brave/cocky/audacious/whichever word you choose” but that is what makes a champion. Hamilton had streaks of it, Rosberg, Vettel so on so forth. Look at Piastri. He goes toe to toe with Verstappen. Knows how to race him. Norris isn’t as co...

Re: F1 2025

I would like to see someone 'close the door' on Max, what he's doing now is what he has always done, lunch down in inside or outside, and intimidate the other drivers to move out of his way. Dont get me wrong, a great driver, but it is possible to squeeze him if your ahead at the time, especially w...
