I was going to acuse you of Plagiarism, but I am more inclined to call it theft. From what I have seen in the Airband section of your website, it is pure and simple theft and taken straight off the Milscanners website.

There is no doubt whatsoever it was ripped from Milscanners, shame people cant be bothered to do their own work.

myself and Rich have been in contact with 'Andy GR9' (think AS79 on here) about this subject. Andy states their info has been taken from a number of sources including the Milscanners/FC db. The thing that sticks in our minds is a slight error (ahem) that was put in our db on purpose to catch people using our db's has been included in the listing at Fox2


One thing to bear in mind is myself, Rich C and Alex M put months and months of work into the db's and to see some of our info used in such a way leaves a very sour taste, other websites have simply linked/pointed to the 'www' of the milscanners/FC db and therefore saved themsleves a lot of work, given us credit for our work in one way and also saved themselves the bandwith on their site.

thanks to those so far who can also see for themselves what has gone on, personally I cant see the point in setting up a messageboard to cover topics that are already covered on boards such as this and other similar ones.

so will let everyone else make their minds up!

So basically they trying to get something set up so they can reap some rewards at others expense and hard work and perhaps get some exclusive opportunities?.

thats certainly how I feel, really p****s me off that our work has been used elsewhere, makes think why bother? We set those db's up as we were fed up with publications making money out of information which is shared for free on forums such as here on FC, email groups like Milscanners etc and giving little back. Our idea was a free and accurate listing for all, that would be updated and expanded as time allows, that we have done and from feedback is largely appreciated. Although pulling the db's has crossed my mind, why should we be beaten by other projects nicking our work? Maybe its a complement of sorts but when the purposefull slight errors appear we can have a wry smile I guess.
