Airshow Season 2009 - Review

Gareth Stringer takes a look at some of the highs and lows of the 2009 UK airshow season – not a vintage year by any means but also one not devoid of highlights. It has also been one that, as always, gives us much food for thought as we look ahead to 2010.
National Center for Atmospheric Research

The National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) was formed as a non-profit organisation in 1959 to serve the atmospheric and related science and education community, operating alongside the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR). Paul Filmer investigates.
South African National Museum of Military History

Nestled in a quiet residential suburb of Johannesburg, the South African National Museum of Military History houses exhibits reflecting the turbulent history of the South African nation, including some unique aircraft. Paul Dunn visited for GAR.
