Brand new tracking site coming very soon

Post by WD75 » Tue Nov 17, 2020 8:33 pm

Hi, on the 1-12-2020 we will be releasing a brand new tracking site, this will be available on Desktop,
App, Android & IOS,

Not going to bore you all with details,

If you are interested then please take a look at our website SkyScanWorld.com

You can also see what we are all about on our twitter page where myself & Matt are constantly tweeting aircraft movements from all over the globe.
and we also have a Facebook page.

We track anything that flys and we track globally.

We currently have people from all over the USA, Japan, Greece, Italy, france, China Australia, Malaysia, Corfu, plus a lot over the UK who kindly currently send us there feed, and we are gaining feeds daily, which will make our coverage even better.

1-12-2020 we will go live, and we will be offering a 3 week free trial period..

Thank you for reading,

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Many thanks Warren.

Good Afternoon,,

Absolutely nothing to do with making money i can assure you...

Myself and Mr ??? Have a passion for aviation, especially military, we have both been in the aviation hobby for over 35 years, combined over 70 years.
I'd like to think we know 1 or 2 things in regards to aviation.

SkyScanWorld have our very own satellite feed...
We also track various aircraft that
Transmit ADSB & FLARM.
ADS-C is our unique feature at present..

ADSB & Planeplotter, FR24, Airnav, I can not comment on, do they run there very own satellite feed. Maybe you can answer that for me!
I know for certain the other 2 mentioned do not own & run there own satellite feed..

Last but not least to run a successful tracking site you require servers, these are not cheap to run, and at present we have over 5 running, I'm not going to give you a precise number on servers as this chat is open to all to view/read.
Money raised via our subscription will be put towards the up keep of our severs along with other developments we will be adding to skyscanworld over the next few months....

I'm happy to discuss this further with you,
If you require any other information, I'm more then happy to talk to you via email or messenger.

Kind regards Warren

For info, PP uses numerous satellite feeds to display oceanic reporting points. Also id the aircraft involved.

However, I am interested that you have your own ADS-C Satellite feed. Other than receiving flight management system information, does it also provide an aircraft id and location? Also, what other data or messages do you receive on ADS-C, that maybe of interest to aircraft tracking enthusiasts?

Aircraft id & Aircraft location, is currently what we will offer to subscribers.

Other info includes,
Modified flight routes, messages from gnd crew to cockpit etc, aircraft diagnostic Information, as well as speed, temperature, fuel information.

It’s our plan for the future to have an option to view this data so all subscribers to skyscanworld can view this info.
We plan to have a plugin to Broadcast it.

1st things 1st tho,,,
We need to make sure we can legally broadcast that info...

So it's not a unique feature you have now then for paying subscribers?

Appreciate your replies and input over the last couple of days. We knew we would get a fair few moaners & critics. All I can suggest is take a look when we release on the 1st, you get a free 3 week trial period, if you like what you see "all good" if you don't like it then delete it.

Have a great weekend 100arw

All the best Warren

Hi Warren

No moans , just suggesting that you need to do your market research.
As for the stream of ADS-C data , I keep three months worth at a time , so if there is any thing you would like to see , let me know.

Personally amongst the tens of thousands of lines of data each day , unless you want to know which flight has a blocked toilet , or how many passengers are COVID suspects or are suffering from
vomitting and the runs , there isn't that much of interest.

Good morning ZG, thank you very much for the info, very much appreciated, we have had our own SatFeed up and running for the last few month's, it's definitely an eye opener, and can be very interesting, especially if you are an aviation enthusiast like myself and many other's.

We also Currently have plans to introduce other plugins and bits and bobs over the next few months. "Can't say to much"🤫🤐 The walls have ears.

May I also just quickly add,, myself & a few others on the team were part of another tracking company, due to certain circumstances we left that tracking site,,
"Hence why SkyScanWorld was born"

We/SkyScanWorld are not out to purely make a few £££ that is not our intention, We have a passion for aviation and we WILL bring a fantastic tracking site to the world.
'Yes' there will be a subscription fee, the fee is to put towards the running costs of all the servers along with the development of SkyScanWorld.

However, if someone sends us a feed, that person will then get Free access.

Apologies for the long winded message.

Thanks again for the reply ZG

Kind regards Warren

As 100ARA pointed out all the PP stuff is available without subscription for those supplying the correct type of data and is aimed at the discerning enthusiast who want to control what he/she sees.
However , good luck with your project.

I'm available as a consultant.....but , you probably wouldn't believe my fee scale !

I don't want to sound dumb,, I'm assuming you have big connection's with PP or you are the owner? Or something along those lines...

I use to feed PP years ago,
"very good tracking site" 1 of the best.

Anyway,,
This is 1 reason we are saying if a person sends us a feed they will get free unlimited access to our site, they can control what they see etc etc etc,,,, we have currently over @$#@🤐 feeds globally, and you know as well as I do, the more feeds, the better the coverage.

Appreciate your replies and input over the last couple of days. We knew we would get a fair few moaners & critics.
If you are not open for open discussion by future customers, I think you should adopt the Dads Army saying - "We are all doomed" (or something similar) as you sure would get the same questions after customers had paid out their hard-earned cash.
