Donna Nook Seals
Donna Nook Seals
Took a trip over last Saturday (4 Dec) , got lucky with clear skies and some sunshine, still bitterly cold though, plenty of seals about as usual this time of year
just a few from the many shots in roughly 90 mins on the pathway (the rest on Flickr page)

Lovely shots.
Re: Donna Nook Seals
Were you forced to park in the field, or was the council parking area open too?

Well it was a field but wouldn't know if it was council or privately owned,it wasn't that bad to drive on in any case

Thanks. I had just seen a post complaining that they had introduced a one way system, which meant you were forced to park in the farmer's field and pay.
Whereas I tend to come in the other way and park in the free council hard standing car park, and get our food and drink from the burger van.

Re: Donna Nook Seals
That is the case, at busy times you are directed to that field then, only blue badge holders are sent to the hard standing car park, I would suggest through the week there is not an issue but at weekends the one way system and field is in use100arw wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 10:56 amThanks. I didnt have any issue with it, there was food/drink on site (not used) and access to the other car park from the viewing area was in place to get food etc(which smelled very nice, but again we did not partake)
the only thing bought was a load of sprouts on a stalk for a £1 which my wife said was excellent value

Re: Donna Nook Seals
Fantastic shots. Not much better in nature than a baby seal. I know they come closer to the path when they give birth, but do they close the range during birthing season, or at least stop ordinance being fired/dropped?
