Close encounter with a Roe Deer

Post by capercaillie » Mon May 09, 2022 1:26 pm

A late evening stroll to one of my local woodland/heathland locations in Herefordshire and a very sociable Roebuck was happy to stand and pose, unlike most that run away barking with a mere glimpse.

The last one shows a memorial to A Wellington crew from 105 (Transport) OTU who sadly perished in April 1945 on a training flight, tragic so close to VE Day.

Super images, well caught, thanks for sharing.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
