Some shots from this afternoon a PC9 callsign Baron 51 and another aircraft which looks very much like a Learjet with tip tanks and Targeting Pod?
Lossie 53 was also around.

Learjet 35A D-CGFB - out of Lossie. The PC-9 and Learjet are both stationed at Lossie for the duration of JW - no idea what their roles are though? Watched them both depart Lossie yesterday. Cheers, B
Re: Tain 18/04/13
Hi Bragail, both the Lear 35 and PC-9 are providing training for Forward Air Controllers, who direct them to attack various targets on the range (today the PC-9 was simulating an A-10). The Lear belongs to a company called GFD who provide very similar service to the German Miltary as Cobham do for the UK Military with their Falcon 20s (see article at http://www.checksix-online.com/html/gfd.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
