On the way back from Carlisle I had a short visit to Spade this afternoon to see if FAC ex was there. Nope, and with the weather being windy with some good dark rain showers coming through, it didn't look good.
However, as luck would have it, during a relatively sunny interval (just after 3pm) a Tornado GR4 had a few fly throughs - initially in from the north overflying Wiley Sike with a nice jinking low level, then off east to do a westwards run back along the Wiley Sike ridge, and then a run from the north again before heading off west. There were gaps of several minutes between each run and I didn't id the first run (waving too much!), but my photos of the later flybys show that it was Tornado GR4 ZD741 / 089.
